Missionaries in Sri Lanka
Having arrived to Canada at the age of 19, Stephen eventually fell into the life of being a gang member. At 31 Stephen lost his brother in a fatal car accident which changed his life forever. From this event Stephen came to know God and then pursued an education in ministry.
While attending Masters College and Seminary God placed on his heart to go to Sri Lanka as a missionary and plant churches. In 2008 he married Rebecca and in 2010, God spoke to her to return to Sri Lanka to serve Him.
Stephen and Rebecca are planting a new mission among the Tamil people of Sri Lanka. They are working in a region where more than 98% of the people have no real understanding of Christianity. This couple are passionate, committed and consecrated to the ministry of evangelism.
The feeding program is one of the most important parts of our work. We do this program in order to lift up the following people:
There are three main ways that you can help any of our supported missionaries:
1. Prayer Support
Being on the missions field anywhere in the world can, at times, be very daunting and difficult. To support these missionaries please remember them in your everyday prayers
2. Personal Letters
No matter where these missionaries find themselves, receiving a word of encouragement or a message letting them know they are remembered and thought of can go a very long way! If you’re wanting to send a letter or a message to any of our supported missionaries please send us an email!
3. Financial Support
Contribute to our ministry through Family Christian Centre's online giving!
