Alpha offers a series of enjoyable dinner gatherings and group discussions designed to delve into life's profound questions regarding spirituality and faith, all within a relaxed and accepting atmosphere.

It's tailored for individuals seeking to either embark on or reconsider their spiritual journey. Whether you're curious, skeptical, or simply seeking answers, Alpha welcomes you to bring your genuine inquiries and engage in exploration alongside newfound companions!

How it works

Connection

Enjoy some refreshments (food/snacks/coffee) with other Alpha guests.

Content

Each gathering includes a short teaching designed to inspire conversation. They explore the big issues of life and faith, addressing questions like ‘What is Faith?’ and ‘Who is Jesus?’

Conversation

The best part of the night is group time, where you will get to know others, ask big questions, and share your thoughts and experiences of life and faith. There’s no obligation to say anything, and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously).

  • WHAT ARE THE AGES?
Whether you are young in age or young in heart, FCC Young Adults is geared towards the ages of 18-35.
  • ARE WE SEPARATE FROM FCC?
No. We believe in one church. One passion. That we are a part of what FCC does as a whole.
  • WILL I BE ASKED TO GIVE MONEY?
You aren’t alone in asking that. The answer is no, not really. You will hear that we talk about money because, let’s be real, it’s an important aspect of our lives. For those who call FCC their home we do ask for them to financially partner with us. But we don’t pass a collection plate around or anything like that or beg you to give.
  • DO I HAVE TO BE A CHRISTIAN TO ATTEND?
We exist to reach young adults who don’t know Jesus yet. Young Adults is a place for all people to explore life and the tough questions that we are faced with. With that being said, we are a Christian church, but you do not have to be a Christian to attend.
  • HOW CAN I JOIN A SMALL GROUP?
Our small group kick off night happens at the start of every school semester (i.e., September and January) but you are more than welcome to still get connected even if you missed the kick off event. For more information, you can check out our Small Groups page.
  • WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICE TIMES?
Every second Tuesday at 7pm, beginning April 2nd, 2024
