Jasmine was born and raised in a small, northern town in Ontario. Growing up in the boreal forest and alongside the beautiful Lake Superior, she developed an awe and love for God’s creation. This lead her to study and earn her Biological Science degree in Guelph, Ontario.
While attending her church in Guelph, Jasmine began to realize her passion for God’s church community, and for helping others find family and belonging through the love of Jesus. She volunteered there with the youth and young adults ministries, and was employed there for a summer working with the children’s ministry. Guelph was also the place where she met her wonderful husband, Nathan. After getting married in May, 2016 they decided to move to Fort McMurray.
Jasmine remains passionate about connecting with families, and her desire is to see God move in and change the lives of everyone she serves. She knows just how much God loves her, and wants the same transformative power to encourage others in their walks with Christ.
“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” 1 Peter 4:10
