Edwin Rideout

Edwin Rideout

Lead Pastor

Edwin's Bio
Edwin has spent twenty-two years in full-time Pastoral ministry. He has a Bachelor of Theology from Masters College and Seminary Toronto, Ontario and a Master of Divinity from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa Oklahoma. He is currently completing his Doctor of Ministry via. Acadia University, Kentville, Nova Scotia.

Having served twelve years in managerial roles with an engineering firm and the Government of Newfoundland prior to entering full-time pastoral ministry he brings a wealth of leadership skills to his portfolio.

Edwin & Rhoda commenced their ministry at the Family Christian Centre in September of 2008; and since that time FCC has experienced significant growth. He has been the primary visionary and overseer during the launch of the Legacy Counselling Centre and the Wheaton-Penney Childcare Centre. Both of these new enterprises are devoted to nurturing healthy families.
Edwin is known for his energy and passion; both in the congregation and the community. His preaching and teaching is forthright and down to earth; the cry of his heart is for people to discover Christ and grow in discipleship-life. His primary weakness is his hope that the Toronto Maple Leafs will win the Stanley Cup before Christ comes to establish His Millennial Kingdom.

Edwin is married to the lady of his dreams, Rhoda; and together they are parents to three adult children, and four spirited grandchildren.
Rhoda Rideout

Rhoda Rideout

Director of Care Ministry

Rhoda's Bio
Rhoda has served alongside her husband, Edwin for twenty-two years in full-time Pastoral ministry. Her primary passion is to see individuals introduced to Christ and become dynamic disciples.

Rhoda is convinced that it is all about relationship; it’s about intentionally living life in a manner that naturally leads lost individuals into relationship with God. She passionately believes that with God, nothing is impossible! D.L Moody once said, “The world has yet to see what a man or woman completely sold out to God can do for Him.”

Rhoda has a certificate in Pastoral Ministry with an emphasis on Pastoral Counselling. She also has a certificate in Executive Office Administration, from CompuCollege School of Business – Charlottetown, PE. She brings tremendous relational and organizational skills to her role. If you have a ‘talent’ – and we all do – she will spot you in a crowd, and before you know it you’ll be engaged in some significant Kingdom service.

Her idea of relaxing is a bottomless cup of Starbucks, a great book, and both of these while preferably relaxing on the deck of a cruise-ship. She also invest a great deal of her energy in her relationship with Edwin, their three adult children, and their four amazing grandchildren. For her Family is definitely second only to God!
